Nomow Springs to the aid of the Olympics

NoMow recently sprung to the aid of the Olympics when it became clear that the real turf, originally specified to large areas around the Olympic village, would not survive due to the long spell of dry weather, especially during a hosepipe ban.

NoMow Ltd – the UK’s largest supplier and installer of artificial grass – has stepped in at short notice to install almost 5,000m2 of its landscape artificial grass to areas surrounding the hospitality facilities.

The client was impressed by the natural, realistic look of the NoMow artificial grass and the Company was judged to have the skills and resources to service such a prestigious contract – especially under severe time limits and unique access and security constraints which the Olympics project presents.

To satisfy environmental requirements, all 5,000m2 will be returned and processed and recycled by NoMow Ltd after the event.

NoMow are working with the prestigious landscaping company Gavin Jones Limited, a lead contractor on the site and supplier to her Majesty the Queen!
