History

Nomow was established in 2001, however the management had been operating within the artificial grass industry for about 10 years prior.

The majority of work in these early days was the construction of what is nowadays referred to as AstroTurf sports pitches. However, the actual word AstroTurf is an American brand name, so these pitches are what we now called 2G sand-filled, artificial grass pitches.

At around the turn of the millennia, we noticed a huge uplift in the number of people looking for artificial grass applications outside of the sports environment. We started working with not only private individuals but also with commercial operations such as schools, hotels, hospitals and prisons, and since then the market has continued to grow.

In recent years, we have merged with the Sports and Leisure Group (SLG), who are a Belgium manufacturer of artificial grass. This now makes us part of the largest manufacturer of artificial grass in Europe, which allows us to design our own products that are at the highest quality, for exceptional prices.
