Never Miss another Kick About

As we move into the colder months, the biggest killer of sports pitches is rain and frost which leaves very unhappy players. Although Artificial Grass hasn’t been widely used in professional clubs, Nomow has certainly seen a rise in the number of artificial grass pitches in the past few years and it’s clear to see why.

Artificial Grass has come a long way since the 80s and 90s when it was introduced to professional football clubs – back then it was deemed to be a cause of injuries and gave an unfair disadvantage to the home side.

The technology used to produce sports surfaces has moved forward massively and holds many advantages over real turf. Not only do you not need to worry when the weather takes a turn for the worse, but it needs very little maintenance.

Nomow have developed their very own sports surfaces which are extremely durable making them ideal for high usage –

Nomow Extreme is one of our most enduring products which is made up of a duo coloured, fibrillated monotape yarn designed to be filled with 50% rubber crumb.

Nomow Challenger 24 is a short sports grass designed primarily with football in mind. It is sand-filled grass to achieve a natural ball bounce and enhance the durability of the surface.

If you’re looking to create a sports pitch on a budget, you may also want to consider our Stadia 24 product. It is a short, clipped pile making it ideal for ball sports. This product isn’t as durable as it isn’t designed for high wear usage but will certainly do the trick in the short term.
