What to do with your garden in Spring

It’s nearly March, which means we are moving into Spring and saying goodbye to Winter. Over the colder months, your gardens suffer; lawns are more like bogs, fences get damaged and flower beds look a little sorry for themselves.

There are a number of gardening jobs you need to do to transform your gardens.

Tidy Up

A general tidy up is always a good start for your gardens. It’s likely leaves and other debris are littering your flower beds and borders so now are the time to make them homely again. You can cut back the dead growth in early Spring which will transform your beds and borders.

Think about Summer flowers

You need to think ahead and plan what flowers you want to brighten up your garden as some may need to be planted now in time for Summer.

Clean your Greenhouse

It’s likely you’ve probably neglected your greenhouses a little over the winter so they’re probably looking worse for wear. Not to worry; just give them a clean and they’ll be looking as good as new for you to start using again.

Install Artificial Grass

Installing Artificial Grass is something you can do at any point in the year. However installing it in Spring means you have a lawn you can enjoy just in time for the weather starting to improve, so you can start enjoying your gardens rather than having to think about mowing your lawns.
