Nomow Support World Record Attempt

Nomow are delighted to be supporting the world record attempt of Amy Hughes (famously known for running 53 marathons in 53 days!) at the Trafford Centre this week.

The Wilmslow born athlete begins her challenge today, attempting to run 3 marathons a day for 7 days (530 miles) on a treadmill.

She will cross the finish line on Wednesday 7th September, just in time for National Fitness Day.

The event takes place at The Trafford Centre, where Nomow has donated 4m x 4m of Classic Meadow to ensure that space stays looking its best for Amy’s record attempt.

Amy said of the challenge; ‘I am just a normal girl and I want to show everyday people that when you set your mind to something you can do it. It is so important to get active for your mind and body and I want people to take this journey with me. After my last challenge, we started the 53 foundations to raise awareness and create opportunities for people with disabilities. This next challenge is dedicated to all of those people and I am running for them.’

Nomow is delighted to play a small part in this incredible challenge, and do what we can to help such a great cause.
