There was little rest for Nomow staff over the 2010 Christmas break.
This years close down period was used to good effect as Nomow moved its central operations twelve miles along the A6 to Dove Holes near Buxton, Derbyshire.
The new 20,000 square feet call centre and warehousing facility now allows Nomow’s extensive stock of artificial grasses and play surfaces to be housed under one roof.
Part of the move sees implementation of a fully integrated stock control system allowing EDI access for larger customers and suppliers; The installation of new ‘state of the art’ computer controlled carpet cutting machinery specially imported from Canada, now provides super-fast, accurate grass cutting and packing.
States Michael Tittershill Managing Director “We are very excited about this new facility, especially as the new call centre, warehousing, stock control and processing systems will take overall customer service levels to new heights.
