Helping to Restore our Local Town

We have recently delivered a roll of artificial grass to the Buxton Crescent renovation project, near to where Nomow is based. This is a major construction project in the centre of Buxton that aims to restore the iconic Georgian Crescent and Spa building back to its original glory.

Crescent

The Crescent building was built in 1780’s by the 5th Duke of Devonshire who wanted to emulate the architecture and attractions at Bath. The building was constructed close to the sites of the people who originally used the thermal Spa qualities, the Romans. One of the central purposes of the renovation project is to show off this rich history that Buxton has.

The grass we delivered was our Fire Retardant Artificial Grass product which is a newly introduced grass and an innovation in the artificial grass world. It is our Fire Retardant Artificial Grass which has an excellent CFL Classification of S1 Rated.

Managing Director, Michael Tittershill said “We are delighted to be able to play our part in restoring this beautiful building. Like the rest of Buxton, we’ve been driving past it for years wondering about its potential and we can’t wait to see the final results”.

Buxton

This grass will go into one of the inspirational visitor attraction rooms. We’ve had a sneak peek at the construction of this room and are excited about how our grass will look as part of this truly innovative and unique room design.
