Case Study – Hazelwood Towers

With the summer bringing us Wimbledon, the Tour de France,  Cricket, Athletics and Golf there’s no doubt that this is the time for getting outside.

However, with many schools hosting their annual ‘Sports Day’ as the end of term draws near it’s hard to deny that so far summer 2015 has been less than scorching for many of us!

Regardless of what the weatherman says, the demand for sporting activities in schools is still high during the Summer term and Nomow have the answer, as Hazelwood Towers in London have discovered.

Nomow arrived in the spring to transform the schools previously tarmac surface into a versatile, well draining Multi-Use Gaming Area that can be used 365 days a year and won’t be put out of use by the rather British Summertime we’ve been experiencing!

The new MUGA is an impressively large installation at over 640m2 using Nomow Extreme which has a rubber crumb infill and holds the title of one of Nomow’s most hardwearing and versatile products.

The Nomow team have managed to get some ‘Birds eye view’ photos from the upstairs of the school to show off the scale of the pitch, which we know will be enjoyed for years to come, with the school enjoying full peace of mind that the MUGA is covered by Nomow’s 10 Year Installation Guarantee
