At Nomow, we are committed to providing and maintaining a working environment that ensures the health and safety of our people, customers, contractors and visitors. We want to prevent accidents and illness by making sure that health and safety considerations are at the heart of everything we do. To make this happen , we’ll be encouraging everyone who works at Nomow to actively take part in and support this policy.

CSCS
A recognized site safety scheme is fundamental for Nomow and the CSCS scheme was ideal and helped  Nomow’s objective is to develop and maintain a competent workforce including ongoing assessment of our current training needs. A CSCS carded workforce is fundamental and Nomow intends for 100 % of its operatives to have CSCS/CPCS by January 2010.

Children’s safety 
Children’s safety and confidence in your workforce is paramount to Nomow’s success, with this in mind we decided to have all site operatives and sales personnel checked by the Criminal Records Bureau. All staff carry their cards with them for identification at any time.

CHAS
Nomow has been approved by ‘CHAS’. This demonstrates that Nomow has nationally recognised standards of training, policies and methods of working conducive in providing a safe working environment for its staff and customers, both at site level and across the office environment and ware housing.

Customer confidence
You have the comfort that Nomow operates within a national safety scheme, all operatives have site safety cards and all operatives and sales personnel have been CRB checked.
